IndianConsumerism uses measurement to understand aggregate readership and improve its research. The site makes no request to Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics until a reader explicitly allows analytics.
What may be measured after consent
Consented analytics may record pages viewed, broad acquisition source, device and browser category, approximate geography, scrolls, outbound clicks, and other standard engagement events. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.
What stays off
Advertising storage, ad personalisation, and ad user-data consent are disabled. Microsoft Clarity and other session-recording tools are not currently installed.
Your choice
When analytics is enabled, the consent control stores the preference in the reader's browser. Clearing local site storage presents the choice again. Browser-level blocking and privacy controls continue to apply.
Changes
This page will be updated before any materially different tracking, advertising, or session-recording technology is added.
